The Kansas City Center for the Ink & Paper Arts
(a community NFP printing facility)
is badly in need of volunteer help with preparing
our 5000 sq ft of expansion space
at the Hobbs Building in the West Bottoms
Six hundred sq ft of letterpress space is up and running
with a Vandercook , a Reprex, a Sigwalt, & a Poco.
The additional space will allow us to set up 3 Jobbers
and 2 Washingtons along with
etching and stone litho equipment.
We have need of folks willing to help us clean up
the existing dust as well as painting walls and pipes.
We also need help from anyone adept at installing
fluorescent fixtures. Volunteers need not be members.
Membership has been limited to the 8 members
of the original collective. It is now open all other
nterested print-makers, book artists, calligraphers, &c.
