Museum of Printing

The Museum of Printing is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the history of the graphic arts and providing education resources for students, scholars, and printers. The goal of the Museum is to bring the story of printing, specifically American printing, to the public. The majority of the collection is exhibited at the Museum in North Andover, MA, where one of the largest collections of presses, hand composition, phototypesetting, and related systems are on permanent display. Additional equipment is stored in a six-story National Park Service warehouse in Charlestown, MA, proximate to the USS Constitution. The Museum is open Wednesday through Saturday, 10am to 4pm, or by appointment for groups.
