I find it hard to believe that no one has answered your query to this point. The Pin Marks section of the Briar Press site is apparently still “sleeping” in the Museum section and hopefully will be restored fairly soon. It is absolutely the single best reference site for pin mark identification. In the meantime, do you have a question about a particular pin mark that you need to have answered?
I have a question about a pin mark. It is on my “mystery face” posted earlier, and it has “36” above and “BTF” below, but the “B” looks like a double strike with an extra lower loop. I think this ought to be Boston Type Foundry but I’m not sure. Other possibilities?
